The Next Generation – our son Jorik has built a new chalet next to Chalet on the Rood in Zell am See – Kaprun in Austria, his new home country. It has turned out beautifully, modern yet traditional, and all built and finished by Jorik himself. He rents out APART SMITTEN on the ground floor.

All good things come in threes

Jorik was quite nervous to see how his new Apart Smitten would be received, but he can be very happy with the success of the first year. Many enthusiastic guests have spent their winter or summer holidays at Apart Smitten. Jorik has been overwhelmed with compliments about his craftsmanship, the cozy atmosphere, the beautiful appearance and his new role as a host.

Jorik has also not stopped, and has put his time this year to good use. Finishing his own home and processing all the input/feedback he received about Apart Smitten. He is ready for the new ski season.

The NEW LOGO stands for Chalet on the Rood and Apartment Smitten in AUSTRIA.

The logo depicts two mountains and part of a beautiful slalom, as well as two holiday accommodations in the mountains in Austria. Separate but also connected to each other.

We are proud of our new logo and think it reflects exactly what we stand for.
